" Living in Knowledge"
I've always been inspired by music, life's lessons, learning, observing, writing, and rapping so I woke up one day and decided to combine them all. I want to give people something to read that would provide hope, laughter, positive thoughts, and provoke change in how we view one another. Embark on this journey to mental/individual freedom with me as I learn to let go and LIVE.
Enjoy reading the Lik..... Where Everyone Lives In Knowledge.
After watching this video in admiration on WSHH I immediately had to tell everyone I knew that would appreciate great artistry. The video's treatment and visuals were extremely appealing but the true star was OnCue as he delivered a story behind the guy who was once overlooked. The track provided more then just bars, delivery, and substance but it made me honestly admire his perseverance. I am eager to research his work and life story now as he definitely touched my soul. On Cue in on his way to becoming the next big star and he isn't taking no $hit from anyone! No Way......
With his second mixtape, Life Behind Barrz:Reloaded, dropping in April you will began to hear more and more heat pumping out of Blow The Bank Entertainment. Barrz is a true artist that delivers a story well equipped with first and foremost BARS, but he also provides a pleasantly aggressive yet passionate approach which draws in the listener. He is unlike the mainstream artists' that seem to only encompass the whole flashy braggadocios trap lifestyle as he gives you the harsh reality of his past and present. I had the pleasure of working with Barrz for his track "I Want It All" featuring myself, Bad Milli, and I completely admire his dedication. His studio presence is very laid back as he will converse slightly but mainly engulf himself into whatever he is listening to in his headphones while getting into his zone. He also has a track"I Aint Your Bro" with his actual blood brother "Maine Rilla Stone" who caused a riot on that joint. Definitely, make sure to check that out and also look out for the featured song "Route Of Evil". "Route Of Evil" features Pyro Traxx and Splizzy Hendrix whom are two of the hottest out right now in the Bronx so this song has a little something for every type of listener. Each artists' on this banger brings something completely different to the table pertaining to style and flow then they attack each verse with a presence that provides great character. You can hear the entire song on his sound cloud page which I have provided the link below. I know I am eager as $hit for this mixtape to drop but in the mean time all the current fire he is producing is only making the wait worth it. Be on the look out for Barrz and the other artist' featured on his upcoming project. Real people who have been gifted to tell their story via music. LISTEN!!!!!!!!!!!!
*** Dayona (Young Queen) just recently dropped her latest Mixtape ,Gift:2, and this Harlem native is showing the streets and the industry that she too can deliver a great body of work just like the best of them. Having the ability to be featured on her "Chiraq Remix"( https://soundcloud.com/dayona/chi-raq-queen-mix-feat-bad) was cool as for me that showed that she is all about work, passionate about the music, and humble. In an Internet Radio Interview with The NTuned Show with Mrs.P, Dayona spoke about how at the age of 15 she begin her journey through music and has continued to be just as ambitious and motivated as day 1 in her craft (http://www.blogtalkradio.com/thentunedshow). You can catch this young lady all over NYC and other cities performing her hits and just living life jamming with the people. When you hear a Young Queen track you can never be prepared as she is going to deliver that WURK with a lady like finesse as she bodies every beat. Always working and continuing to release great music one can tell that it should not be long before this Queen is heard in every city, town, region, and club. Gift:2 definitely has those bangers and a few of my personal favs are "Queen Reign","Movie Time, and "So Long".
I've provided the links to her music and social sites below. Go download Gift:2 and Kiss Tha Crown when Dayona come through.
After watching this on WSHH I was eager to know if there were more and luckily I found at least two others on YouTube. I recall Wale going off on Complex Magazine regarding their "50 Best Albums of 2013" article because his album The Gifted was overlooked; I am surprised to see this amazing squash of beef. My hopes are that they will one day turn this into a full on sitcom as it is like the meeting of the greats. Jerry is the King of making shows about nothing turn into a 25 year old influential programs and Wale is the poetic artist that exudes great artistry/creativity while keeping it trill. I have watched all of the Wale and Jerry conversations and every one left me wanting more. Maybe my wish will come true and these two, along with Complex, can create a long standing dope collaboration sitcom so people can stop watching the nonsense on television. LOL

SOTG/BlowTheBankEnt's very own, Augu$t Ru$h, dropped NO HAND-OUTS last Thursday and has the streets ready for an album from this young man. NO HAND-OUTS is what he is calling the mixtape before the actual mixtape and if so I don't think any of us will be ready. His newly released mixtape is comprised of 13 tracks and has features from Pyro Traxx, Barnz, Jacene Mills, Pessoz, and Mook Love. A few of my favorite tracks would have to be "Walking Dead","F.I.Y.S", and "Bodega" just to name a few.
Being that I have had the ability to witness Augu$t in action perfecting his craft I am very well assured that this young man is going to go far. Not only does he make great music but he also is a fashion designer, model, writer, and his freestyles will mesmerize you. His mixtape is receiving much love and support online as well as in the streets as you can find him out there providing that work (CD's) while connecting with the people. Augu$t Ru$h is up next and if you haven't familiarized yourself by now I will provide all you need to get in tune LOL.
*** Brief Bio ***
At only 22 years young, Augu$t Ru$h has been taking the streets and internet by storm. After bubbling in his native Yonkers and Mount Vernon Ny, Hitting cypher after cypher, show after show, and underground radio stations from all over the country he's made quite a staple for himself. And old soul trapped with a young man his sound is gritty yet educated and his lyrics are vivid and for the timid a bit graphic which makes it easier to relate to. Take a listen and see what life's like on the SouthSide of the 914…
