Daily Inspiration : Day 5
Inspired by my current reading I Declare:31 Promises To Speak Over Your Life by Joel Osteen
** I find that these declarations are a great way to start the day and I would like to share each day as I go through my daily declarations. I even read them out loud as I think this method will somehow embed the meaning/interpretation deep into my spirit. I plan to read this book a few times so I will start from the beginning with you. Enjoy and stay up! ***
Day 5:
I DECLARE I am grateful for who GOD is in my life and for what He's done. I will not take for granted the people , the opportunities, and the favor He has blessed me with. I will look at what is right and not what is wrong. I will thank Him for what I have and not complain about what I don't have. I will see each day as a gift from God. My heart will overflow with praise and gratitude for all of His goodness. This is my declaration.
Be blessed and highly favored.

JAMAICAN CLEANING
I needed something soothing to watch before I began this week's issue of What The Lik Read for Harlem's Saturday distribution and went straight to YouTube. It seems that Wayne Purkle videos are the remedy to my current state. That in which I can't even began to verbalize. Any who, after watching Wayne Purkle teach dance moves I stumbled upon this vid here. If this brother isn't grooving I don't have freckles on my face. Check him out and CLEAN UP!

I am in love with these all Red Pf Flyers. It's like everything I've ever wanted in a sneaker but I have a few pair of the high canvas joints. So at this point they can do no wrong. Three-Year-Old Beyoncé Dancer Is Heaven!
By the end of this video I was in a full face of tears. It was so moving to see the mother not only dancing with her daughter but she was killing it. I love that the baby loves dancing and knows that she is a dancer as she tells Ellen, "I AM a dancer" in her adorable kid voice. Every part of this was inspiring and moving. Crying was the last thing I thought I'd be doing by watching a three year old dance with her mother but this made me feel some type of way.
Blessings to the mom and her family and much respect for Ellen. Her show gives African Americans to show that we are talented and intelligent.
Tiara Thomas Performs "Tell Me Something" (Acoustic Version)
Almost in love with this song. ( I have to listen a few more times as I like to overly analyze lyrics lol) The fact that she is an African American woman who taught herself how to play the guitar at the age of ten and her lyrics are extremely relatable is enough for me. Tiara Thomas is our new Lauryn Hill and I appreciate her originality and soulful delivery. Just what the real music lovers need in a world full of hatred and violence. Thank you Tiara for listening to what God placed in your heart.

Today started off extremely well and I am certain that it shall end that way as well. I experienced a moment of another trying their best to assassinate the joy I have then realized that misery loves company. Literally. Unfortunately, I am in a better place mentally so I pulled out my Joel Osteen and began to read when this #Jam came on Pandora. Immediately the negativity that was piercing my judgement went away and I envisioned living out my dreams. I envisioned success, and reaching plateaus that once seemed unattainable. My determination, ambition, and loyalty will soon get me far. In the meantime this knowledge of self-worth is fueling my greatness.

I took it another route as it can provoke emotion and thought to all as it may apply to the situations/lives of many including myself. Talk Therapy
Therapy With Carol: 2nd Session
Therapy (Latin therapīa; Greek: θεραπεία) literally means "curing, healing"
***Carol is my beautiful young co-worker whom I have decided to volunteer her services as my "therapist". She not only gives great advice but she actually listens to you. I should really start paying her lol.***
After several unnecessary events on Sunday I , in my 27 years of living , have decided maybe I should meditate and have introspective moments more often.I am a very pleasant individual, but I have realized that I cannot tolerate disrespectful beings. I truly do not understand the logic behind the saying, “Respect is earned, not given”. Just as I do not understand the logic of traffic if everyone is moving forward, but that I’ll save for bad traffic rant.
Respect is a given in my book. Why should one earn what they are entitled to? I believe this is the breakdown of not only society but also humans as a whole. The problem for me is that people have allowed their opinions to become all they have. When we began to worry about others we do not have enough time to focus on our self. If a stranger walked up to me today and said that he is Spider Man who am I to question his being? Everyone’s journey is different and it is not our right to judge another because we are all fighting the same battle: Life and The Unknown
